Our History
Nicholas & Montgomery LLP was founded over twenty years ago to provide the highest quality accounting, auditing, tax and consultation services. The Firm has been built to be guided by the principal that the integrity of its people and the services it provides can be the only measurement of its success. The partners of NMLLP have over one hundred twenty combined years of public accounting experience serving entrepreneur owned businesses in diverse industries, individuals and non profit organizations.
Kenneth R. Nicholas, CPA (January 31, 1942 – June 3, 2003)
For nearly forty years, Ken did what he loved most in his professional life, serving his clients. Twenty-two of those years were with Deloitte & Touche, including over ten as a partner and seven as partner-in-charge of the Dallas office tax department. In 1987 he established his own firm where client service continued to be his top priority.
Those who knew Ken for just a short time or for many years, as we have, know his work ethic, his character, the quality of his work and the integrity with which he approached his work. Those are the very attributes from which the foundation of our firm has been built and dedicated.
We will all miss Ken very much. However, because of the impact that Ken has had on those of us fortunate enough to have worked with him, his influence on the firm of Nicholas & Montgomery LLP will continue for years to come.
